Cotswold Gold Exchange is a trading name of Oodles Precious Metals Ltd (Company No. 12930825), registered at PME, PO Box 1379, Cheltenham, GL50 9JX. These terms govern your use of our services.

2. Our Services

We provide free valuations and purchase precious metals, jewellery, watches, coins, and related items at roadshow events and via our postal valuation service. All valuations are provided in good faith based on current market conditions and our expert assessment.

3. Valuations

All valuations are:

• Provided free of charge with no obligation to sell
• Based on current market prices at time of valuation
• Valid for 7 days from the date of valuation (subject to market movements)
• Carried out by qualified professionals using calibrated equipment

4. Buying Terms

When we purchase items from you:

• You confirm you are the legal owner of the items or have authority to sell them
• You confirm the items are free from any finance agreements or encumbrances
• Payment will be made by bank transfer upon completion of the transaction
• All transactions are recorded in accordance with HMRC requirements
• We may require proof of identity for transactions above certain values

5. Anti-Money Laundering

As a dealer in precious metals, we are subject to HMRC anti-money laundering regulations. We are required to verify the identity of customers for transactions above £10,000 and to report suspicious activity. By using our services, you agree to provide any documentation we reasonably request.

6. Postal Valuation Service

For our postal valuation service:

• Items are sent at your own risk until received by us
• We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery or equivalent insured service
• Once received, items are fully insured in our custody
• Items will be returned free of charge if you do not accept our offer
• Return postage is fully insured via our carrier

7. Disclaimer

While we take every care in our valuations, market prices for precious metals fluctuate daily. Valuations represent our best assessment at the time and are not a guarantee of future value. For insurance or probate purposes, we recommend obtaining a certified independent valuation.

8. Complaints

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
